Be Prepared, that’s the scout’s motto of which the groom and I was a member. We met during secondary school through the 11th GTS scout group, and on and off we do still keep in contact. It was a pleasant surprise and wonderful news to hear that he’d be getting married, and has asked me to be there to capture the beautiful moments.

To cut the long story short, I became the Camera-man for his wedding ceremony and it was also as memorable for me (to reminiscent about scouting days) as well as for the lovely couple.

Wow, i’ve not updated my blog for the past week, haha. I’ve been quite busy lately though…..:P

After shooting ChinHien & Janice’s ROM, I was given another opportunity to share more of their wonderful moments by joining them in a small party to celebrate their marriage.
The location is the newly renovated Rasa Sayang Hotel and it was an extremely fun outing indeed. Hope you’ll like the photos I’m sharing here.

Special thanks and appreciation to Paula & Brad, who comes from the US as well, for the chance to capture the moment of her maternity bliss. Again contact was through emails, and when presented with this opportunity, I agreed to do it without any second thoughts.

Since it’s my first time, naturally I needed to do a lot of research, so that I may present to Paula photos that are of the highest quality and captured the mood well. I really do enjoyed the shooting session and do hope that, Paula, who took a special trip from Singapore where her husband is based, enjoyed and had fun as well.

Had a great opportunity recently to shoot a pre-wedding set for a lovely Malaysian couple who is currently working in the US.
5 months in the planning, we finally met for the first time in the shooting location of the exotic Langkawi Island, off the coast of Kuala Kedah.
Communications, planning and preparations were done mainly through emails, and we started the shoot two hours after getting to know them better.
All in all, it had been a special and fun experience for us. And here are some of the photos to share with all of you.

GimpShop, an open-source program that does most of what PHOTOSHOP can do - and even mimics photoshop’s interface, thanks to another open source add on.

Gimp offer such sophisticated editing features as layers, channels, redeye reduction and a host of third-party plug-ins. There’s even a plug-in available, called UFRaw, which allows Gimp to work with the uncompressed, raw images file formats that many DSLRs offer.
