Had a wonderful time in a lovely island ~Bali last weekend with my wife and friends. Spent 3 days 4 nights and an additional 2 days of fly time. Bali is one of the most enchanting places to visit….towering volcanoes, beautiful temples and a fascinating culture that never fails to captivate. Here are some of the pics from the first 2 days, the rest of the pics will follow soon…;)

Wow, it’s been an extremely busy pass few weeks…and coupled with my home computer’s crash, I’ve been unable to update my blog for more than 10 days. And as I understand, this is not the proper “blogger” style…. kekeke ;)
Ok…let me introduce my next pre-wedding assignment, Samantha. She’s the cousin of one of my friends who is known as mrsandylau in the internet world.

I met samantha about 6 months ago, when she was looking for camera-man to take photos for her pre-wedding and actual wedding day. Unfortunately, I was only able to take up the pre-wedding task as I was already engaged by another couple to take photos for their actual day, which co-incidently falls on the same day.

Samantha and Jayshin are a nice and easy going couple….although we have only known each other for short time….but when we chat, we chatted like old friends.

The shooting was done on a sunny day with blue skies in the morning. And it was HOT!! We first went to the bride’s house where we met up with Angela, our makeup artist for the day. And many thanks to Samantha’s mom for the big breakfast. It was like going to a big picnic.

Without anymore delay, lets us enjoy some of this outing’s photos.

Haha, just realize that I’ve not share this with all of you.
It’s been 17 years since my last trip to Melaka, and i found a lot of new changes to the place. The matter that impressed me most about Melaka is its cleanliness when compared to Penang. The Melaka township is a very very intresting and historical place The life there is very relaxed and I enjoyed going around the small city very much.

Another thing that I liked about Melaka is the food like cendol where it’s the best in Malaysia.
Now, my reason for being at Melaka was to cover a wedding assignment: namely Sarah and Edwin’s wedding (you’ll find the blog entry for this in the Wedding section), and also for a short but sweet portrait session with Carmen (also posted in my blog )
Anyway, do enjoy this album.

The name Langkawi is a combination of “Lang” and “Kawi”. “Lang” comes from the Malay word helang which means eagle. In the past, the land was a home to innumerable eagles. “Kawi” is Sanskrit for marble, which is found in excess in this part of Malaysia. Both words are joined to form the word “Helangkawi” which ultimately became Langkawi.
